Optsol is first and foremost an Industrial Engineering company. We are passionate about the optimisation and integration of business processes that will deliver bottom line results to your business. We are most comfortable in the nucleus formed by the intersections of business processes, systems and people.

Supply Chain

The bulk of our experience lies in the Supply Chain industry where we consult on all aspects of supply chain. The past 3 years we have been focussing on retail and specifically eCommerce supply chains and has been involved in the establishment of a 3PL eCommerce fulfilment solution.

We develop niche software solutions, bespokely developed and tailored to meet our clients' needs. These solutions support specific business processes of our clients for which there is no off-the-shelf solution available.

  • WMS Implementation
    Cape Town, South Africa

    The implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) for one of our clients that offer a 3PL warehousing solution.

  • Optsol is part of designed and commissioning team of a 3PL ecommerce fulfilment centre. The first phase was commissioned in October 2014. The project is currently in its fifth phase of evolution and is specifically focussing on increasing the outbound capacity and scalability of the facility.

  • The Implementation of a Online Strategy
    Cape Town, South Africa

    Assisting a national furniture and homeware retailer with the development and implementation of an ecommerce strategy.

  • Warehouse Optimisation
    Cape Town, South Africa

    The analysis of a cosmetics distributors existing warehouse processes aimed at maximising the warehouse's throughput with the least amount of resources. The analysis is done using discrete event stochastic simulation.
